“Intelligent Green Mobility and Resilience Society”
12-13 November 2026
Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras
The International Conference ITS 2026: “Intelligent Green Mobility and Resilience Society” is organized by the University of Patras, Department of Civil Engineering, on 12-13 November 2026, in the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras, Greece.
Intelligent Transportation Systems represent the state-of-the-art in mobility, transportation infrastructure and networks and ensure comfortable, fast, and safe movement of people and goods in smart cities and communities.
Connected and Resilient Intelligent Transportation Systems are key elements in the roadmap towards the empowerment of the mobile citizen in decision making. This is founded in reshaped holistic understanding and the optimal interpretation of values and situations involving people, objects, and vehicles for drastically improved mobility, safety and resilience. Intelligent Green Mobility Systems further enhance this vision by integrating sustainable solutions and adaptive technologies that minimize environmental impact while maximizing transport efficiency and improving quality of life.
Implementation of ITS and C-ITS in Resilience Society will address challenges in their application in predictive demand-supply transport, data management, AI integration, cybersecurity, intermodal mobility, traffic networks, vehicle & system autonomy, safety & security, decision analysis, location optimisation, communications, intelligent information, intelligent management, unmanned aerial vehicles, green mobility, micromobility, mobility as a service, logistics optimisation, environmental impacts, and the associated policies and policy dialogue.
The ITS Conference is an opportunity for industry, public organizations, local government and authorities, universities, researchers, consultants, constructors and freelancers to exchange views on arising problems and innovative solutions, including policies.
The Conference distinguishes itself by integrating resilience, connectivity, and sustainability into a single holistic framework that unites technological innovation (ITS and C-ITS), green mobility, and human-centred decision empowerment—linking technical, environmental, and policy dimensions across all transport modes.
Submissions will be evaluated by the conference Research Committee regarding relevance to the conference theme, quality, and coherence. All researchers whose abstract will be accepted will receive an invitation for oral presentation and submission of a paper for publication at the conference minutes or a refereed journal.
Please submit your abstract in English only, in a single pdf file (up to 10MB) by 20 April 2026 23:59 (CET). Abstracts are accepted only through electronic submission.
