ITS 2026
“Intelligent Green Mobility and Resilience Society”
12-13 November 2026
Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras
Are you an undergraduate or graduate student passionate about innovation, sustainability, and Intelligent Transportation Systems? Are you interested in presenting your ideas, research, or vision for the future of mobility to an international audience?
Here’s your chance!
The International Conference, “ITS 2026: Intelligent Green Mobility and Resilience Society” is organized by the University of Patras, Department of Civil Engineering, on 12-13 November 2026, at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras, Greece.
What’s ITS all about?
Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) are shaping the future of mobility, making transportation safer, faster, greener, and smarter. Connected ITS (C-ITS) in vehicles and smart cities, AI-powered transport, greener travel options, and resilient systems can adapt to real-world challenges.
From self-driving cars and drones, to Mobility-as-a-Service apps and sustainable transport networks, ITS combine engineering, data, design, and innovation to rethink how people and goods move.
Through ITS and C-ITS, we are shaping the next generation of mobility systems that tackle real-world issues like:
- AI-driven transport and connected/autonomous vehicles
- Cybersecurity and data management
- Smart traffic networks, communications, and safety
- Intermodal mobility, micromobility, and mobility as a service (MaaS)
- Drones and logistics optimization
- Green mobility and environmental impacts
- Decision-making, policy design, and policy dialogue
Why should you get involved?
Because we need fresh ideas - your ideas. Whether you're working on research, a class project, a vision concept, or even a startup idea, this is a chance to share your work, get feedback, and make an impact.
The ITS 2026 Conference offers a unique opportunity for students to connect with professionals and researchers from academic/research institutions, industry, and the public sector. It provides an inspiring setting to present their work, exchange ideas, and discover innovative perspectives that link technology, sustainability, and human-centered mobility across transport modes.
Submissions will be evaluated by the conference Research Committee for relevance to the conference theme, quality, feasibility, and coherence. All papers approved by the Research Committee will be published in the proceedings of the conference.
Please submit your paper exclusively in English in a single pdf file (up to 10mb) by September 21, 2026. Papers are only accepted via electronic submission. Incomplete or late submissions cannot be accepted.
